Mersey River Report18/03/2012
Unfortunately, work all weekend prevented Trev and I from heading off too far,... up until this afternoon, so as soon as I knocked off we headed up to the Mersey for a look.
Waders on and a quick walk downstream for about a kilometre, working our way back up to the car.
On the third cast for Trev and he was on, possibly the same fish I caught last time as it was in the exact the same spot. It didn’t take long for me to catch up to him, after a few more steps, I was on as well.
This continued all the way back to the car, with us catching 11 for this little session, including 2 nice rainbows.
All the fish were returned so they could move back to their spots ready for our next trip there.
