Mersey River Report 16/10/2011
We fished the Mersey River this afternoon from Lovett’s flats, down river.
The river here has great access and many good rapids and runs and despite being fished heavily, it is still fishing pretty well.
I waded out just enough to allow me to cast to the other side and twitched a Pearl Gulp back across river. I caught 6 lovely little river fish and lost 4 in a couple of hours.
Although not big, was great fun to catch.
