Mid Sea-Run Season Report


Sea-run trout fishing this year got off to a cracking start in most areas, with the majority of anglers employing nearly every trout fishing technique to secure fish in local estuaries statewide.
Even those anglers fishing the "off-season" lower down in our estuaries for sea-trout commented on the number of fish moving in early August.

Four Springs Easter 2011

by Rose and Vic. I hope everyone has had a great Easter. We are busy getting ready for Agfest so not much fishing, almost withdrawal symptoms.
So yesterday we went to Four Springs it had a little chop on the water and was overcast. Victor chucked the plastics around and managed to get a couple of nice browns.  I of course fly fished and caught a beautiful rainbow, fat and lush.

We went again today and Vic managed another brown of around 3 lb......I'm still trying.
Considering whether to go again tomorrow as this will be our last fish for the season.
I must admit it has been a great season with many new friends. I would like to take this time to say thank you to all
Presidents and friends for the help, advice and friendship we both really appreciate it.
