Protest Rally

Next Saturday (21st July) recreational boaters and anglers will be holding three simultaneous rally's around the state, protesting against the arrival of the Super Trawler "The Margiris".
These rally's will be held in Launceston, Hobart and on the Northwest Coast.

We are asking as many people as possible to come along and to form a convoy with their trailer boats, Kayaks, roof toppers , whatever! 
These convoys will take us past our local Federal MP'S offices in each particular area, hopefully showing a strong sign of unity as we all display our opposition to this ocean going vacuum cleaners impending arrival!
If people want to make up placards and hang them off their boats, that would be great as well.
Hope to see a huge turnout in all three respective areas.

Launceston rally starts at the Silverdome, 10.30 arrival, we will have a quick debrief here onsite before the scheduled 11am kick off.
The convoy should only last around half an hour.
