Access the GoFree™ Shop anywhere you have Wi-Fi coverage – from your driveway to your local marina, and even out on the water with mobile internet coverage and a smartphone that supports internet connection sharing or ‘tethering’.

The GoFree™ Shop is available on HDS Gen2 Touch fishfinder/chartplotters with the optional WIFI-1 wireless module, and on all HDS Gen3 models with built-in Wi-Fi. A free software update for your chartplotter is required to enable access to the GoFree™ Shop – just follow the link below for your model.

Team Lowrance takes top spot at GTS - Round 2

Congratulations to Lowrance Pro Teamer Mark Healey who, fishing as Team Lowrance/Evinrude, took out first place in round two of the Gamakatsu Elite Series in Forster, New South Wales this February.

Healey fishes with dual HDS Gen2 Touch fishfinder/chartplotters, StructureScan® sonar imaging, and a Lowrance SonicHub marine audio system.

“Using the chartplotter, we stored waypoints where we were able to find concentrations of fish. This allowed us to position the boat upwind and drift over the productive fish holding areas, using the coloured trail functions to help line up the drift.”

Upcoming Events

There’s plenty of fishing planned on both sides of the Tasman this March, with a full bag of pro and open fishing competitions on the calendar. To name a few:

BETS: Round 1 – 15 March, Hawkesbury River, NSW

Last year’s Berkley Evinrude Team Series was won by Lowrance Pro Teamers Mark Healey and Adrian Neoh, for a fantastic $20,000 boat package. This year Lowrance is once again a proud team sponsor.

Pirtek Fishing Challenge - 22 March, Australia-wide

Australia’s largest fishing competition is conducted online – all except the fishing, which takes place on shores and waters nation-wide.

Orton Series 2015: Taranaki Classic - 27-29 March, New Zealand

This multi-species kayak fishing event targets snapper, kingfish, trevally, kahawai and albacore. We’ve provided Lowrance Elite 5x CHIRP, Elite 4x HDI, and Elite 3x fishfinders as prizes, all perfect for kayak installation.
