Trout Quest - Second Edition

by David Scholes

Before David passed away, Marty Rogers and Jim Allen asked David if they could reprint Trout Quest - originally published in 1969. David readily agreed. Trout Quest has, for many years been very hard to obtain and often if a book could be found it was in poor conditon.

Trout Quest has chapters on the choice of tackle, casting, wading striking, playing, netting, selection of flies and some beautiful anecdotes. This, the second edition, has three new stories. These were written by Scholes around the time the original Trout Quest was written and fit seamlessly within the original work enhancing this highly regarded fly fishing book. A beautiful story and a lovely book. Hard case bound with dust wrapper (limited to 500 copies) $60, Leather bound edition in beautiful soft leather. (Limited to 150 copies numbered copies) $200. A few remain.
