We won’t beat around the bush, we know you’re busy. It’s the National Week of Action against Super Trawlers, so tell your local wannabe politicians that super trawlers and all the terrible destruction they bring to local fisheries, fishing and marine life, are not on. Here’s how - It’s easy!

Step 1.

Send your local candidates a quick email here – no super trawlers!

Step 2.

RSVP to an event in your area – bring a coffee or your lunch and make a super loud statement that we will not stop until we get rid of destructive monster trawlers.

Click on the links to these local events to invite your friends and RSVP on facebook or forward this email on.

BegaNSW: 11am, Thursday 19 May. Peter Hendy's office, Carp Street Bega.

AdelaideSA: 12.30pm, Thursday 19 May. Matt William's office, 670 Anzac Highway Glenelg East.

HobartTAS: 8am Thursday 19 May. Eric Abetz's office, 136 Davey St Hobart.

The monster trawler is currently targeting the NSW Sapphire Coast of NSW. It’s been hammering the local fishing spots all summer and the locals and tourists are getting worried. The industry promised not to fish next to the fishing comps, but here it is on Friday, and here’s the Canberra Yellowfin Tuna Tournament on Saturday night!

Please help protect our fisheries, beautiful marine life and our fishing future by sending a clear message to your local candidate that super trawlers are not wanted.

Politicians will say all kinds of things to swing a vote during an election, so help make sure they go far enough to protect our oceans and coastal towns from factory trawlers for good!
